Local Children's Illustrator and Author Peter Catalanotto Wows Families at Fred Beans Family of Dealerships' Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work Day®
It isn't easy to keep close to 100 youngsters and their adults engaged and entertained for nearly an hour. But Peter Catalanotto, award-winning local children's author and illustrator, did it easily. He spoke enthusiastically about his work as a professional artist and writer, about creating art-or anything you feel passionate about-and how he gets his ideas. The program was part of Take Our Daughters And Sons to Work Day® at Fred Beans Family of Dealerships in Doylestown, held April 26. For the tenth year, the Beans family invited the youngsters who came to work with their adults to come over to the Ford store for a catered lunch and crafts. This year, the event included the presentation and one of Catalanotto's books, inscribed by the author.

	Catalanotto has written and illustrated such beloved children's books as Dylan's Day Out, Mr. Mumble, Christmas Always and Matthew's ABC. A popular presenter for school programs, he passionately encourages young people to think of themselves as artists, even if they aren't grown up and aren't getting paid for their work. "If you draw, you are an artist now."

He told them to use the two words writers love: "what" and "if." "What if" something in your life happened a little differently? How could you use that to make a story more interesting for others?
	Artist Tricia Shepard, 5, of Doylestown, is the daughter of Jim Shepard, Saturn parts manager.
	"Try new things, new ideas, new techniques," he urged his listeners. Catalanotto takes many of his stories and beautiful watercolor illustrations from his own life, tapping memories from the time he was little and observations of his interaction with his own daughter over her lifetime.

The Buick 100,000-Mile/5-Year Limited Powertrain Warranty - A New Level of Confidence

In addition to the vehicle coverage described above and in the Warranty and Owner Assistance Information booklet, General Motors will provide each 2008 model year passenger car, light duty truck or van with a deductible limited powertrain warranty for 5 years, or 100,000 miles/160,000 kms (whichever comes first), from the original in-service date of the vehicle, for repairs which are required as a result of defects due to material and/or workmanship to the powertrain components as listed below:

Engine
Cylinder head, block, timing gears, timing chain, timing cover, oil pump/oil pump housing, OHC carriers, valve covers, oil pan, seals, gaskets, turbocharger, supercharger and all internal lubricated parts as well as manifolds, flywheel, water pump, harmonic balancer and engine mounts. Timing belts are covered until the first scheduled maintenance interval.

Transmission/Transaxle/Transfer Case
Case, all internal lubricated parts, torque converter, transfer case, transmission/transaxle mounts, seals, and gaskets.

Drive Systems
Final drive housing, all internal lubricated parts, axle shafts and bearings, constant velocity joints, axle housing, propeller shafts, universal joints, wheel bearings, locking hubs, front differential actuator, supports, front and rear hub bearings, seals and gaskets.

Courtesy Transportation System
During the first 5 years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, alternate transportation and/or reimbursement of certain transportation expenses will be available under the Courtesy Transportation Program if your vehicle requires repairs under the limited powertrain warranty. Several transportation options are available. Refer to your Owners Manual for details, including reservation of rights, or consult your dealer.

Roadside Assistance System
General Motors is proud to offer the response, security, and convenience of the 24-hour Roadside Assistance Program for a period of 5 years or 100,000 miles/160,000 kms, whichever comes first. Refer to your Owner Manual for details, or consult your dealer. The Roadside Assistance contact information is listed in the Customer Assistance Offices section of the Warranty and Owner Assistance Information booklet.

What Is Not Covered

All the above items are not covered for damage due to accident, misuse, alteration, insufficient or improper maintenance, contaminated or poor quality fuel. For complete details refer to your Warranty and Owner Assistance Information booklet.

This is a supplement to the express conditions and warranties described in the Warranty and Owner Assistance Information booklet. Other coverages are not extended or altered due to this supplement.

For 2008 model year passenger car, light duty truck and van owners requiring more coverage than what is provided with the limited powertrain warranty and the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, an authorized GM service contract (GM Protection Plan) is available through your dealer. These are the only plans recommended by General Motors. See your dealer for details.

As part of the new GM 100,000-Mile Warranty, we have extended the coverage on your 2008 GM vehicle. The Limited Powertrain warranty is now 100,000 miles or 5 years (whichever comes first). It is fully transferable. There are no fees and no deductibles.

It's just another part of an ongoing commitment GM made to improve the quality of all our vehicles. In fact, we have made such dramatic improvements that this outstanding warranty is now standard on every new 2008 vehicle.

In addition, we have extended the Roadside Assistance and Courtesy Transportation programs to 100,000 miles or 5 years (whichever comes first). There is absolutely nothing you need to do. The 2008 GMC Yukon has an astonishingly fresh and comfortable interior. In 2007 it was given a sleek new body mounted on a new, stronger and stiffer frame and a new power steering system, beefed up brakes, new front suspension and reworked rear suspension. These carry over into 2008, offering much of the same.

The Yukon seats up to nine passengers and is rated to tow up to 7700 pounds when properly equipped. It offers a choice of three different V8 engines and a choice of two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, except for the upscale Yukon Denali, which comes with all-wheel drive. The engines available are a 295-hp 4.8-liter V8, 320-hp 5.3-liter V8, and 380-hp 6.2-liter V8. Safety features that come standard on all models include dual-stage front airbags; four-wheel antilock brakes with dynamic rear proportioning; Stabilitrak stability control system; tire pressure monitoring system; and OnStar.

The 2008 model is a carryover from the 2007, which was a redesign.
